Deleting measurement data

deleting a measurement in factry historian does not delete the data points that were collected by the measurement if you want to delete the data points that were collected by a measurement, you should do so before deleting the measurement to do so, follow these steps navigate to the measurement detail view of the measurement you want to delete the data points from click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the measurement detail view click delete measurement data select the time range for which you want to delete the data points if the interval is larger than the selected time range, only the data points within the selected time range will be deleted optionally adjust the interval in which the data points should be deleted click submit enter the name of the measurement to confirm the deletion a measurement data deletion task is now created to view the progress of the deletion go to configuration > tasks ( tasks docid\ ouywpxc3neevmwrszfhle )
