To create an asset property:

1. Navigate to the `Assets` page and select an asset in the tree view.
2. On the right hand side in the tree view, click the `Add property` button.
3. Enter a name.
4. *Optionally enter a description.*
5. Select a datatype.
6. Select a measurement.
7. *Optionally enter metadata.*
8. Click the `Submit` button.
