This page describes the server requirements for an on-premise FactryOS installation. For network and firewall requirements, see 

FactryOS runs on a dedicated Linux server (physical or virtual), referred to as the MES server.

These are minimum values. Sizing depends on the number of lines, users and the data volume. Factry will advise on sizing during project preparation.

Factry installs and maintains FactryOS remotely over SSH. Provide the following:

SSH login with sudo privileges enabled for this user

Python 3 installed (included by default on Ubuntu Server)

An RRULE is a recurrence rule which defines a pattern to generate a set of timestamps to setup new events.
