Creating an event type
To create a new event type:
- Visit the Event Types page
- Click the Create event type button
- Enter a unique name
- Optionally enter a description
- Optionally select a parent event type
The parent event type is mainly used in the grafana datasource, event configuration can still have parents with a different event type but some features in the grafana datasource will not work as expected.
