License
The Factry Historian license governs access to the software’s features and functionality. Key aspects of the licensing model include:

License Expiration
When your license is approaching expiration, a notification will appear within the application. You can also check the expiration date of the licenses from the overview.
When your license expires:
- Existing functionality remains operational.
- No new collectors, calculations, events, or other changes can be made.
- All data and configurations remain viewable, but modifications are restricted.
Trial Mode
If you do not currently have a license, you can explore Factry Historian’s capabilities using the trial mode:
- Trial Duration: Provides access to all features for 2 hours.
- Behavior After Expiration:
- Factry Historian will automatically shut down.
- Upon restart, you must select the trial mode again to reactivate the application.
This trial mode offers a fully-featured preview of the software, allowing you to evaluate its functionality before committing to a license.
