Configure state transition tables

Before the Downtime Manager can automatically detect and classify downtime events, each piece of equipment must be configured with the appropriate downtime settings.

This configuration links the equipment to:

a state transition group, which defines how signals from Factry Historian are translated into equipment states and downtime events;

a reason tree group, which defines the hierarchy of reasons operators use to classify downtime events;

and the downtime algorithm, which enables automatic downtime detection for the equipment.

These settings are configured per equipment, allowing different production lines or machine types to use different detection logic and reason trees, even when they belong to the same equipment hierarchy.

Once configured, the equipment is ready to participate in automatic downtime detection and operator-guided event classification.
