Text input
Influx measurement
A text input can be linked to an factry Historian measurement. Once the checklist is saved, the data the user filled in for each item will be sent to the linked measurement.
Numeric input
Numeric input, e.g. a manual measurement of the length of what has been produced, can be filled in by the operator.
Every time a number is filled in, the system can check if this number falls within the expected boundaries, to give immediate feedback to the operator.
Influx measurement
A numeric input can be linked to a Historian measurement. Once the checklist is saved, the data the user filled in for each item will be sent to the linked measurement.
Minimum / Maximum boundaries
Two types of boundaries can be defined: these both work very similar except for that warnings will have an orange look and errors will have a red one. This allows operators to immediately detect abnormal values. When looking at the overview of filled in checklists we can filter on checklists with warnings, error, or neither of these. By default all of them are shown.
Configuration
Configuration can be applied at different levels: This provides flexibility to define validation rules depending on the production context. For example, an operator might need to record a manual pressure measurement:
- 4–8 bar → Normal
- 3–4 or 8–9 bar → Warning shown
- <3 or >9 bar → Error triggered

A checkbox input can be linked to an influx measurement. Once the checklist is saved, the data the user filled in for each item will be sent to the linked influx measurement.
Radio buttons

A text input can be linked to an influx measurement. Once the checklist is saved, the data the user filled in for each item will be sent to the linked influx measurement.
Options
Radio buttons work with options, meaning that the user filling in the checklist can select only 1 of the given option as their answer. Adding an option is as easy as typing and pressing the + button to the right. In the screenshot we’ve added options a, b, and c. An option can be removed by pressing the x button next to it.
Boundaries
The boundaries for radio buttons work in a similar way as the numeric boundaries. Here you just select which options should trigger a warning or an error. Additionally you can configure a text message for warnings and errors to be shown when those are triggered.
Free text
The free text doesn’t have any advanced configuration, but its basic configuration is a bit different from others. Here you have a large input field that can contain a large amount of text. When clicking on the H button, you can insert a heading text where the cursor is currently located. Similar to the link button, you can add a link where the cursor is currently located.
Image
The image doesn’t have any advanced configuration, but its basic configuration is very different from others since it is the only type that doesn’t involve any kind of text. Instead of a title, you have an Image URL configuration and an Alt text configuration. Both of these can work with a connection or a fallback value.
The image URL needs to be a valid URL to any image supported by the browser, JPG or PNG is recommended.
Check if the URL you want to use, by trying it out in your browser.
The alt text is shown when the image can’t load. This might happen when the checklist template was configured on a different network than the one on the work floor.
While not necessary, an alt text is advised just so the user doesn’t get to see a big empty square where the image should be. The image will resize to the size of the block it is in while maintaining its aspect ratio.bn
